He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Owen Rutledge and Lois Freeman Rutledge; his brother Jack Rutledge; and the mother of his children Idelle Hunt Rutledge. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Rutledge; his children, Bronwyn "Toot" Rutledge and Brent Rutledge; his stepsons, Curt Duncan (Joanna) and Randy Duncan; his siblings, Ida Ruth Anderson, Linda Young, Sandy Adams (Dean) and Ricky Lee Rutledge; his grandchildren, Ty Rutledge (Dallas), Adam Rutledge (Wimberly), Ella Rutledge, Brody Rutledge, Dr. Christina Duncan Lothamer (Doug), Catherine Duncan, Julia Duncan and William Duncan; and his great grandchild Lincoln Rutledge.
