He was predeceased by: his parents, William Baxter Stanley and Addie Carroll Stanley; his wife Dorothy Stanley; and his siblings, Mabel Holbrook, Martha Roberts, Learnie Dodd, Dafie Faulkenberry, Willie Hazelwood, Wincie Raines, Bowen "Bo" Stanley, Baxter Stanley and Virgil Stanley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mossie Couey of Texas and Bennie Stanley (Louise) of Plainville, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins along with other family members.
