Charles Cicero Holbert Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Cicero “Ro” Holbert of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving vast amounts of family and friends to mourn his loss.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest Buford “Butch” Holbert & Pearly Pauline Keener-Holbert; his siblings, older brother William Buford “Bill” Holbert (wife Joyce), 2 younger sisters, Agnes “Siddie” Holbert-Cornwell (husband Charles) & Barbara Sue Holbert; & 2 nephews, Billy Holbert & Hunter Holbert.

He is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, Carolyn Marie Pendley-Holbert; 3 children, eldest daughter Kimberly Kyle Holbert-Brown, middle daughter, Stephanie Marie Holbert & their youngest & only son, Charles Todd Holbert (wife Kim); his 3 grandsons, eldest grandson Spencer Garrett Brown (31 y/o), middle grandson Knox Hudson Holbert (14 y/o) & youngest grandson, Hamp Jackson Holbert (12 y/o); & his younger brother Thomas Buford Holbert of Kingsport, TN. He is also survived by many cousins & other relatives. As well as so many friends.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times while attending the visitation as well as the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the Holbert Family requests that a memorial contribution in Memory of “Ro” Holbert, be made out to their home church, Calhoun First Baptist Church Building Fund.
