It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine King Earnest of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Henry King and Jewell Daniel King; and her husband Charles B. Earnest. She is survived by: her children, Michael Earnest (Cindy), Karen Mizell (Malcolm), Jennine McDaris (Greg) and Mary Catherine "Kitty" Rabun (Ben); her brother Charles G. King; her grandchildren, Mary Beth Gable (James), Myles Earnest, Micah Earnest, Dean McDaris, Christopher McDaris, Jana McDaris, Katie Rabun and Benjamin Rabun; and her great grandchildren, Burch Gable, Laurel Gable and Reed Gable.
In lieu of flowers donations, in memory of Catherine, may be made to the Judy Earnest Scholarship Fund at Calhoun First Baptist Church.
