It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buford Wilson (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Ranger, Georgia, who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Wilson and Pearl Hensley Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Ray Wilson; his daughter Sharon Wilson; his grandchildren, Tyler Roebuck, Aaron Jordan Sutherland (Amilee) and Adrianne Roebuck; his great grandchildren, Eli and Benjamin Sutherland; and his sisters, Mellanese Correll, Betty Walraven, Billie Walraven and Polly Scott (Bradley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to New Town Baptist Church, 897 New Town Church Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
