He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Hensley and Floy Ingle Hensley; his wife Georgia Mae Priest Hensley; and his siblings, Jim Hensley and Mildred Aaron.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Hensley Hopper (Rusty) of Sugar Valley and Kim Hensley Holcomb (Thomas Rodney) of Resaca; his granddaughters, Lauren Hopper of Atlanta and Victoria "Tori" Ainsley (Matthew) of Canton; and his brothers, Arthur Hensley and Jack Hensley.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Gordon Memorial Gardens (575 Hwy 53, Calhoun, GA 30701).
