It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Joe Caplinger (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Caplinger, Sr. and Mildred Stevens Caplinger; and his brother Charles Caplinger, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Bramblett Caplinger; his daughters, Jessica Caplinger Hedges of Resaca and Amanda Caplinger Cochran of Resaca; his sisters, Ginger Hogue (Leonard) of Resaca and Bobbie Jo Long of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Hannah Cochran, Tyler Hedges, Kacee Cochran and Kaydance Cochran; his aunt Jane Benson; and his uncle Kenny Stevens.
