She is survived by: her children, Sherica Whitener of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Chace Shropshire of Dalton, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jasmine Whitener and Derricus Jackson of Rome, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Eli Jackson and Journei Whitener; her brother Kenneth Mays (Stephanie); and her sister-in-law Evang. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, special friend, Donald Reynolds; goddaughter, Lauren Watters; devoted friends.
