With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Campbell of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Victor and Josie Bell Chastain Wilson; her husband Joe Lee Campbell; her daughter Martha Ann Campbell; and her brothers, Norman Wilson, Hubert Wilson, Clinton Wilson, Jordan Wilson and Ronald Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Robert Campbell of Cleveland, TN, Delorise (Andy Stamey) and Margaret Campbell of Calhoun, GA; her brother James Wilson of Ranger, GA; and her grandchildren, Michelle, Cleve Corley, Holly, Chris Woods, Angie, Britten Easley, Joey, Darla Campbell, Cody Ponder, Jacqueline, Scott Guzman, Angela, Dan O'Connel, Jeanna and Jason Godfrey. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Calhoun (675 Jolly Rd NW, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
