She was predeceased by: her parents, Durwood Dunwoody and Nancy Brumblett; and her sisters, Louise Terry and Margaret Cannon. She is survived by: her husband James Bryan Petitt; her daughter Brenda Hammonds of Calhoun; her sister Peggy Davis of Rossville; and her grandchildren, Christina Hollingsworth of Dalton and Daniel Serritt of Calhoun. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
