With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Covington of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lundy Sexton and Lucille Roberts Sexton; and her siblings, L. D. Sexton, J. M. Sexton, H. C. Sexton, Billy James Sexton, Louise Morgan, Marry Rose Herrero and Ellweze Mullins.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Covington; her children, Billy Covington (Jan), Carolyn Young (Eric) and Betty Davis (Jimmy); her sister Elinda Hilley; her grandchildren, Christy Swably (Ryan), Erik Henson and Chaney Davis York; and her great grandchildren, Emrik Henson, Anna Leigh Swably and Jayleigh Davis. She is also survived by three grandbabies.
