She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin S. Howard and Vera Stovall Howard; her husband Charles H. Strickland Sr.; and her sister Donna Meulenburg. She is survived by: her children, Harry Strickland, Rev. Howard Strickland (Jenny) of Calhoun, GA and Karen Brown (Steve) of Bradenton, FL; her grandsons, Mark Brown (Jill), Nathaniel Strickland and Daniel Strickland; her great grandchildren, Alex Brown and Alaura Brown; and her sister Joy Grimm (Ray) of Woodstock, GA.
