It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Bell of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Ralston Bell; his sister Mary Ann; his brother-in-law Reece Harris; his brother Bell Sr.; his sister-in-law Clara Hyde Bell; his grandson Obadiah Dillard; his friends, Henry Cornwell, Olin Towe and Hoyle Herndon; and his pet Tator.
He is survived by: his wife Bennie Lee Herndon Bell; his children, James Arnold Bell, Bryan Dillard (April) and Mary Beth Baker (Lee); his grandchildren, Josh Carlson (Kate), Austin Carlson, Kayla Cook (Tyler), Hannah Carlson, Meghan Carlson, Lacey Bell, Sophia Dillard, Yahanan Dillard, Hadassah Dillard, Caleb Dillard, Yahseph Dillard, Yedidiah Dillard, Stephen Dillard and Zachariah Dillard; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Kyley Carlson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
