She was predeceased by: her husband Fate "Jack" Brooks; and her siblings, Ruth King, Alfred Chastain and Herman Chastain. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Dean (Jimmy) of Calhoun; her sister Sue Rutledge (Ernest) of Resaca; her grandchildren, Jamin Dean (Amanda) and Mallory Dean; and her great grandchild Bennett Brooks Dean.
