She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Lamar Mosteller and Vivian Thigpen Mosteller; and her daughter Laura Watts Petty. She is survived by: her close friend Simmons Watts; her sons, John Watts (Jennifer) of Canton and Walter Watts (Kim) of Monroe; and her brother Robert Mosteller. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calhoun First United Methodist Church @ 205 E. Line Street, Calhoun, Ga or Nellie Peters United Methodist Church @ 1122 South Wall Street, Calhoun, Ga.
