She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Lamar Mosteller and Vivian Thigpen Mosteller; and her daughter Laura Watts Petty. She is survived by: her close friend Simmons Watts; her sons, John Watts (Jennifer) of Canton and Walter Watts (Kim) of Monroe; and her brother Robert Mosteller. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
