He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Grady and Eula Clyde Touchton Taylor; and his brothers, Vaughn Taylor, Frank Taylor and James Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Kay Lynn Phelps (Allen) of Climax, Tammy Jean Williamson of Putney and Thomas Darrell Taylor (Julie) of Cairo; his grandchildren, Shay Walden, Christie Mashburn, Daniel Folsom, Madison Whiddon, Georgia Taylor, Thomas Garrett Taylor and Thomas Rhett Taylor; his great grandchildren, Skye Carbaugh, Kaylee Williams of Brayden Rodgers, J. J, Odell, Lyla Whiddon, Anna Walden and Drew Walden; his great great grandchildren, Nahla Williams and Isla Carbaugh; and his brother Wayne Taylor of Albany. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home (176 Hand Ave W, Pelham, GA 31779). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
