He is survived by: his children, Nannette "Nan" Boyles (Lewis) of Cairo, GA and Benjamin Braswell (Katie) of Coolidge, GA; his sister Nancy Tumminello of Metarie, LA; and his grandchildren, R. C. Thornton, Jennifer Blair (Austen), Ben Braswell, Jr. (Courtney), Brandon Braswell, Brett Braswell (Shelby) and Destiny Boyles. He is also survived by 8 great-great grandchildren.
