He is survived by: his father Frank Powers; his wife Glenda Dale Kirkland Powers; his children, Brandon Powers (Alexius) of Cairo, GA, David Stephens (Courtney) of Tifton, GA and Lisa Moore (Hayden) of Thomasville, GA; his brother Michael Powers; his aunts and uncles, Patricia Schellkopt, Sherri Burgess, Jack Burgess and Steve Burgess; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Martin and Betty Ann Bozeman. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
