Retta Bass Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 79, Retta Bass of Cairo, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wilson Strausheim and Shirley Laverne Kelsey Strausheim; and her brother Robert Strausheim, Jr. (Butch). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Louis Bass; her children, Kenneth L. Bass, Jr., Theresa M. Bass and Michael J. Bass (Vicki); her grandchildren, Meggan Bass, Amanda Bass, Joshua Bass, Robert Bass, James Bass and Nichole Bass; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Schlicting, Carson Bass and Damien Bass. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (1500 11th Ave NW, Cairo, GA 39828).
