With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jasper N. Carter of Cairo, Georgia, born in Mitchell, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jasper N. Carter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Carter and Rebecca Johnson Carter; his grandson Michael Todd Gainous, Jr.; his siblings, Dollie Carter Hines and Jeff Carter, Jr.; and his sons-in-law, Terry Payne and Dennis Walker.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty Jo Barrett Carter; his daughters, Barbara Carter Walker, Carolyn Carter Payne, Janis Carter McDonald (Tony) and Donna Carter Gainous (Todd); his grandchildren, Daniel Walker, Jared Walker, Jessica Iwanowski, Thomas Payne (Jessica), Michael Iwanowski and Samantha Gainous; his great grandchildren, Presley, Jaxson Iwanowski and Rhett Carter Payne; his brother Jesse Carter; and his caregiver Marsha Dollar. He is also survived by brother, good friend.
