He is survived by: his grandson Connor James; his children, Kala Bennett of Adel, Cetoria Elise Tomberlin of Rome and James "Trey" Edward Tomberlin III of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Connor James Tomberlin, Emmylou Bennett and Miller Bennett; his sisters, Constance Fulp and Lynn Pinacas of Stockbridge, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, Emily Johnson of Stockbridge, Kylie Harris of Jessup, Chris Wilkerson of Gafney and Jon Simcox; his great-nieces, Dallas and Winter Simcox; and his great-nephew Braydon Simcox.
