She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Randall and Frances Piersie Fertic Gray; her husbands, John Loyd, Sr. and Fred Maloy; her grandson Jonathan Hurst; and her granddaughter-in-law Kourtney Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Loyd Welch (Bill), John Loyd, Jr. (Mona), Jimmy Loyd, Sue Loyd, Trish Loyd Myers (Johnny), Ste, Sonya Maloy and Stacey Maloy; her sister Wilma Wells; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home (176 Hand Ave W, Pelham, GA 31779). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Pinecrest Memory Gardens (3464 US-19, Pelham, GA 31779).
