He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Brooks and Ruth Merrill Brooks; his granddaughter Maggie Grace Norris; and his siblings, Betty Self, Helen Rogers, Eugene Brooks, Jerry Brooks, Richard Brooks and Junior Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille McCranie Brooks of Rentz; his children, Steven Brooks (Pam) of Rentz, Paul Brooks (Paige) of Dublin, Amy Orlando (Israel) of Silver Springs, FL and Jan Norris (Chris) of Cadwell; and his brothers, Joel Brooks (Kathy) of Dublin and Leon Brooks (Margie) of Dublin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
