She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Ward and Emmie Diers Ward; her husband Bill Thomas; and her siblings, Roy Ward, Donald Ward, Ernie Ward, Cecil Ward, Vanzel Ward, Avis Cherry, Thetus Carter and Myrtice Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Stuckey (Don) of Cadwell, Ray Thomas (Deborah) of Rentz, Jane Lindsey of Cadwell and David Thomas of Cadwell; and her sisters-in-law, Deborah Mincey Ward and Bobbie Thomas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
