He is survived by: his wife Faye Sapp Thompson of Cadwell; his daughter Tracy Thompson Graham (Greg) of Cadwell; his grandchildren, Haley Dendy (Stephen) and Madison Hill (Tucker); and his great grandchildren, Sam Dendy, Lucy Hill and Anne Dendy.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Thompson to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Brotherhood or Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund in C/O of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at P.O. Box 40, Cadwell, GA 31009.
