He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Peterman and Ophelia Starnes Peterman; his brother Kenneth Peterman; and his son-in-law Jeffery Rose. He is survived by: his close friend Debbie Hinson of Byron; his children, James Peterman (Misty) of Byron, Cindy Blando (Brian) of Byron and Samantha Rose of Rincon; his brother Mitchell Peterman (Andrea) of Roberta; and his grandchildren, Nate Peterman, Sam Peterman, Cameron Rose, Kayla Rose, Austin Blando (Lana) and Seth Blando.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Community Church, 4301 Jordan Road, Byron, GA 31008.
