It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Goodson of Byron, Georgia, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L. Goodson, Sr. and Rita Sue Goodson; his siblings, Russell Goodson and Lari Sue Johnson; and his nephew Jeffery Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Goodson; his children, David Matthew Goodson (April), Billy Michael Smith (Nichole) and Lori Stephenson (Jason); his grandchildren, Matthew L. Goodson, Alexia Goodson, Daniel Goodson, Savannah Goodson, Diamond Goodson, Valli Smith, Jake Stephenson and Joshua Conrad; and his brother Christopher Goodson.
