He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Tumlin Andrews and Robert B. Cannon. He is survived by: his nieces, Mary Sackie (Steve) and Faye Senkbeil; his great-nieces, Tiffany Critchfield and Sarah Cane; his great-nephew Jon Cane (Megan); his brother-in-law Dr. Charles Williams (Pat); his cousin Jimmy Tumlin (Hope); and also Eliza Critchfield. He is also survived by several cousins, extended family members and friends.
