He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Murdock and Bessie Murdock of Byron; and his wife Betsy Peavy. He is survived by: his daughter Molly; his son-in-law Colin Croft; his grandchildren, Colin, Jr. of Macon, Will of Macon and Meg Croft of Macon; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Kirk Morris of Byron; his grandchildren, Bobby Morris (Jennifer) of Byron, Eden and Taylor Morris of Perry; and his great grandchildren, Tucker, Rosemeri, Finn, Sam, Daniel, Laura Kate, Gus, Micah and Juniper.
In his nineties, a few years after Betsy's passing and the upheaval of the pandemic, Bob felt drawn once more to the Baptist congregation in Byron.
