He is survived by: his wife Cassie; his son Vince Clinton (Trish); his grandchildren, Brayden, Trey, Tyker and Tate; his siblings, Fred Jr. Clinton (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids, Sharon Clinton (Ron Sims) of Cedar Rapids, Karen Sue Papich (Michael) of Cedar Rapids, Chris Spivey-Perry (Kyle Perry) of Cedar Rapids, Jamie Rugg (Mike) of Cedar Rapids and Priscilla "Patty" Smith (Chris Black) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Jackie Clinton of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
