He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Owens; and his parents, Plemon Owens and Sarah Owens. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Lynn Whidden (Jeremy) of North Augusta and Kaleb Owens of Douglas, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jordan Whidden, Jackson Whidden, Addison Owens, Daci Owens and Daylin Owens; and his sisters, Brenda Crutchfield, Patricia Taylor and Lynn Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Donnie Owens.
