He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarice Luckey Brown and James Carnice Brown; and his sister Theresa Reynolds Knight (Jarrett). He is survived by: his wife Joan Howington; and his siblings, Bonnie Roberson (Victor) of Stockbridge and Carl Brown (Linda) of Marietta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
