It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Obie Jones of Byron, Georgia, born in Sanford, Florida, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lynwood White and Annie Bex Flynt White; her husband Grady M. "Mike" Jones; her children, Carol Ann Mann and Frederick Lamar "Ricky" Jones; and her grandchildren, Scott Wayne Underhill, Crystal Baldwin and Andy Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Evelyn "Peggy" Rigby (Bryan), Wanda Dawn Nicholson (Tim) and Michael Wayne Jones; her children-in-law, Shirley Jones and Eddie Mann; and also Rev. Mark White. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 9 great greatgrandchildren.
