He was predeceased by: his father Jefferson Z. Stephens; his significant other Ann Childre; and his sister Renee Caswell. He is survived by: his children, Darren, RoseMary Stephens of Augusta, Sherry and Troy Tanner of Byron; his sisters, Kathi, Charlie Hodges of Madison, MS and Carol Stephens of Lizella; his grandchildren, Tyler, Whitney Tanner, Ainsley Stephens and Conner Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Hadleigh Grace Tanner and Sadie Leigh Tanner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
