It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest McAllister (Byron, Georgia), born in Blue Ridge, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McAllister and Anna McAllister; his son Stephen; and his grandsons, Ivan Herbert and Samuel Herbert.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Folds McAllister; his children, Carla Herbert (Warren) of Cochran, Michael McAllister of Forsyth and Lisa Mitchell (Jay) of Lewisville, NC; his grandchildren, April Herbert, Benjamin Herbert, Ethan Mitchell (Kaelyn) and Sarah Mitchell; and his sister Dot Meeks of Marietta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
