She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clayton Rigdon Sr. and Maella Dumas Rigdon; her husband Rufus Bowden; her son Tony Bowden; and her sister Annis Bass (Johnny).
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Bowden (Patty Kennard) of Vanceburg, Susan Brown (Jerry) of Thomaston and Janie Burgamy of Byron; her daughter-in-law Kathy Bowden of Byron; and her sister-in-law Anne Rigdon of Fort Valley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren.
