It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmar Boone Axton Jr. of Byron, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar B. Axton Sr. and Helen Axton. He is survived by: his brother Wayne Axton; his wife Beverly Axton of Byron; his children, Robby Axton (Melanie) of Perry, Sandy Pitts (Chuck) of Byron and Tracy Axton of Byron; and his grandchildren, Jessica Axton, Tori Combs (Jon) and Kayla Vickers (Holden). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
