He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Chitty and Hilda Preston Chitty; and his son Tommy Chitty. He is survived by: his wife Margaret C. Chitty; and his children, Michael Chitty, Carla Oliver (Tommy) and Denise Atchley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
