She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Peavy and Jessie Mae Smith Peavy; her husband Jimmie Lee Collier; and her brothers, Bryan Peavy of Alvin Peavy, J. B and Reuben Peavy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Melton (Robert) of Americus, GA, Kay Turner (John) of Oglethorpe, GA and Myra Kirksey (Vernon) of Byromville, GA; her sister Velma Fowler (Tom) of Rupert, GA; her grandchildren, Brandy Elrod (Shawn), Amanda Pankey (J. J.), Kyle Turner (Kristi Coates) and Brett Walls (Susan); her stepgrandson Justin Kirksey; her great grandchildren, Dakota Elrod, Tyler Elrod, Anna Marie Elrod, John Walker Pankey, Bryce Walls and Morgan Walls; her stepgranddaughter Brenna Kirksey; and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Peavy, Minnie Peavy and Dottie Peavy. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
