Willie Payne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Payne (Butler, Georgia), who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. S. Payne and Ruth Payne. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Payne of Butler, GA; his sons, John Payne of Butler, GA and Stephen Payne (Sofy) of Athens, GA; his mother-in-law Dorothy Mansfield (Leonard); his cousins, Nick Giles (Kay) of Butler, GA, Nina Jarrell (John) of Butler, GA and Karen Bohaning of Jacksonville, FL.; and also, Lee Giles (Lindsey), Lauren Lyons (Ben), Jay Jarrell (Kim) and Jennifer Carpenter (Keith).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Congregational Methodist Church (1516 Thomaston Hwy, Butler, GA 31006). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
