Lester Peed Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2023, at the age of 92, Lester Peed of Butler, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Appling Peed and Ella Brooks Peed; his wives, Sara Faye Mott Peed and Helen Hamby Brooks Peed; his siblings, Jack Peed, Marvin Peed, Albert Peed, Mildred Peed and Bernice Peed McCants; and his children, Allen Brooks and Melodye Brooks Forbes.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Lance (Charles) of Butler, Teresa Peed of Columbus, Robin Brooks of Butler and Jack Brooks (Susan) of Butler; and his grandchildren, Justin Lance, Tracy Lance Pounds, Mike Brooks, Kelly Brooks, Harry Forbes, Kasey Dyson Farmer, Wesley Hines, Bobby Allen Brooks and Johnny Brooks. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
