He is survived by: his wife Katie Vaughn Carpenter of Butler; his son Buford Carpenter (Michelle) of Butler; his siblings, Donald Carpenter (Gail) of Butler and Bobbie Jean Prince (Bernard) of Macon; his granddaughters, Summer Deloach (Connor) of Columbus, Elizabeth Carpenter (Matt Rich) of Cartersville and Hannah Carpenter (Cole Bailey) of Butler; and his great grandchildren, Louis Deloach, Payton Carpenter and Oliver Deloach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
