In the vast expanse of eternity, Jewell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jewell farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Scott and Bessie Mae Dyer Scott; her husband Johnny Michael Morrison; her siblings, Joyce Gonzalez and Jack M. Scott, Sr.; and her children, Arah Morrison-Smith and Richard Mobley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one nephew and a sister-in-law.
