She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome "Jay" Chappius and Betty Imogene Chappius; her siblings, Tonya Denise Chappius, Sandra May Higgins (Robert "Bodge" Higgins), Don Chappius and Ricky Chappius; and her nephew Rusty Higgins.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Wayne Peterman of Butler; her children, Thomas Edward "Eddie" Austin of Butler, Joshua Wayne Peterman of Butler and Tonya Nettles of Savannah; her sisters, June Redman of Guyton, GA and Vonda Scott of Ste. Genevieve, MO; her sister-in-law Marsha McCants of Butler; her father-in-law Jerry Peterman of Butler; her grandsons, William Hunter Nettles and Logan Riley Nettles of Macon; her great grandchild Skylar Nettles; and her close friends, Johnny and Faye Boggs of Roberta. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
