He was predeceased by: his parent Clyde Oliver Melton, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Lorraine Spivey Melton; his brother Donnie Melton; his sister-in-law Sandra Melton; and his nephews, Chris Melton, Jonathan Melton and Joshua Melton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 4364 Upper River Road, Gray, Georgia 31032.
