He is survived by: his children, Diana Dunn (Stephen) of Buford, Bruce Beamer of Pennsylvania and Robert McKay of Maryland; his grandchildren, Nina Upshaw-Whiting, Raymond Walter Koch III, Charles T. Koch and Vincent M. Koch; and his daughter-in-law Patrice Whiting.
