He was predeceased by: his father Lal Singh Gill; his wife Gulshan Gill; his children, Jasbir "Jessie" Gill and Dara Gill; and his granddaughter Asha Gill.
He is survived by: his mother Charan Gill; and his siblings, Ajit Gill, Balbir Rooprai, Inderjeet McManus and Harjit Adlaf. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
