He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bishop and Barbara Denning Bishop; his brother George; his sister-in-law Nadine Bishop; his sister Ruth; his brother-in-law Sunny Farrell; his sisters, Marggie Gunn, Arleta Thompson and Florence Bishop; his brothers-in-law, John Markey and Jim Thompson; his son-in-law Scott Rhode; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Declan Rhode.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Bruce Bishop; his children, Terri Hampton, Steven Bishop, Traci Beck (Oliver), Ashley Graham (Matt) and Wesley Bishop; his grandchildren, Steven, Savannah, Jessika, Blaze, Brayden, Caleb, Shane (Ivanna), Nick (Jessica), Dalton (Aylin), Woodrow, Kathrine and Whitney; his great grandchildren, Blaze, Jr., Scarlette, Lenna, Heidi, Levee and River; his daughter-in-law Kate Rodriguez; and his siblings, Dale Bishop (Beverly), Dolores Markey and Betty Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel (3481 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30519). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
