She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Hamby and Mozell Hamby; her brothers, Darell and Edwin Hamby; and her husband Dennis Garmon.

She is survived by: her children, Sarah, Josh Herrington of Buford Ga, Justin, Brooke Garmon, Adam and Amy Garmon of Lawrenceville Ga; her grandchildren, Zoey, Ava, Jack Herington, Madison, Avery and Willow Garmon; and her siblings, Glenda Hamby, Ray Hamby and Randall Hamby (Wanda) of Hiwassee.
