He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Marjorie Coats (Lenore) and Louis Monroe Coats; and his siblings, Lou Coats, Roy Coats, Dick Coats, Patricia Coats Brewer, Mary Marjorie Coats and Joanne Coats.
He is survived by: his wife Erline; his daughter Gale Coats (Michael Pate) of Las Vegas, NV; his siblings, Jim Coats and Carla Sue Coats Taylor; his grandchildren, Jonathan Dunlap, KC Dunlap, Christina Smith, Carson Pate, Anabella Pate, Gabriella Pate and Lucinda Pate; and his great grandchild Sarah Smith.
Bob's commitment to helping others was demonstrated regularly by donating blood. In lieu of flowers, the Family asked that a contribution be made to the American Red Cross.
